A huge hot spring hotel. The upstairs and downstairs and the buildings are connected by corridors. There is a faint smell of horse manure in the air. The rooms and facilities are relatively old. There is an Italian Michelin restaurant in the Satsuma Heritage Hall. The taste is very good.

far from station and one 2-3 shuttle bus per day so better drive. staff are friendly. however, food are not great, rooms for improvement. the sunamushiri onsen is a great experience but other onsen are below average. wifi coverage not enough as it only cover the main building. the satsuma tenshokan next door is a wonderful building.
